Sometimes at night, when I look to the sky,
I start thinking of you and then ask myself, why?
Why do I love you? I think and smile,
because I know the list could run on for miles.

so many little things that make me love you so much.
The way you support me, and help with my emotions,
the way that you care and show such devotion.

On a summer's day long, long ago
I fell in love and I'll never know
Just what it was that made me feel
So drawn to her, what the appeal
That set my pulses so to race

The Meaning

To love is to share life together
to build special plans just for two

Special Friend

I can't give solutions to all of life's problems, doubts, 
or fears. But I can listen to you, and together we will 
search for answers.

You're a true friend, that I want you to know, Our love for each other has helped us to grow. We've been through some tough times, but we've made it through, The only one I ever trusted was you. You helped me through anger, you've chased away fears. You held me through sadness, and kissed away tears. You stayed by my side when the world turned away. I've been searching for that someone, to show me the way, to take my hand and tell me that everything will be okay; I've been searching for that someone, and now I know it's true, I've found that special someone, I've found that someone in you. Me and You Are Friends... You fight, I fight... You hurt, I hurt... You cry, I cry... You jump off a bridge... I'm gonna miss your dumb ass!Thank you for the friendship you have offered; rest assured that I'll treasure it in my heart and will always remember that once in my life, I've known someone like you. I will always be there for you, through the good times and the bad, the smooth and the rough, or just any other time you need somebody ... Just look for me, and I'll be there for you As I look back on my past, I remember the jokes I laughed at, the things I missed and lost, but there's one thing I'll never regret, it's the day you become my friend. Unforgettable experience

     It was June 19, 2009 and super typhoon frank was raging around our home and almost all western visayas region roofs were flying trees were being uprooted. “just bend, don’t break”, I prayed

    The storm gathered in force. Rain was falling heavily,  and water was pouring into the house around the edges of the closed windows.

             I looked out at the back door and watched in amazement as the slope behind my aunt Louisa’s house turned into a waterfall. Then I heard people shouting, “the river bed that ran through the back of our neighborhoods was approximately 20 meters wide and 10 meter deep.

           There was no time to think. As the water came rushing in my sisters and I picked up our 2 cats and we ran out of our house  with my father and mother. We decided to transfer in our  nipa  house where it cannot reach by the flood.

          At the nearby house we were given foods, shelters and medical attention. The rain stopped during the night. At dawn the landscape  that spread out before us was so real. Our neighborhood was now a wasteland. The water had receded and sand, mud and debris covered everything. I  made my way to what was left of the house where I left our dog. I found my dog unharmed and oblivious  to had happened.

             “Don’t Break,  Just Bend.” The worlds became a mantra in my mind as I walked around. The house where we had huddled in fear was buried in mud. The old river and creek were both gone new water ways ran ware houses and streets once stood. Pigs and chicken lay dead. And there, amid the debris, was the Christmas tree, bent but not broken! Perhaps it was God’s way of telling us all was not lost.

            We later learned that we were among the lucky ones. Despite everything that had happened, we were alive and could start over again.

         But nature is a force to be reckoned with. In the weeks and months that  followed,  new leaves had begun to sprout from the trees stump.

            Our neighborhood has slowly comeback to life as well. New house had been built were old ones were destroyed, the field are being tilled despite the muddy soil condition.

              Life mat never get back to normal but our neighborhood has adapted as best  as it can. Perhaps the pine tree as a Christmas tree, will light up again.

You’ve been part of my life.

Without you guiding my way

I would be empty and lifeless.

But thinks God

A gift from heaven is always there for me

You are not just an ordinary persons.

You’re like an everyday superhero.

Knowledge and wisdom, your  special powers.

You mold and shape the youth

To be ready, to become a somebody.

Those doctor, engineers, clerks, lawyers,

Presidents, managers and even the richest persons

Wouldn’t  reach their successful  professions

Without going to school and be taught by you.

But it’s ok as long as you keep on touching the lives of everyone.

Ideal family

       family, a simple word with six letters but a meaningful one. it is composed of father, mother and children's.

most filipinos value and treasure their families. some of us sacrifice for one's success. we are afraid of losing them we joined together to be as one, as one family . but when can we say that the family. we have is an ideal one? when we are complete or when we are broken family?

        until now, was thinking on how we grew up with a simple, poor and big family. i have seven brothers and

teen sisters, a total seventeen children's in the family. my fathers is only a farmer and because of this, they couldn't give aus a comfortable life. as understanding children, we used to be contented for the little things they could give us. we grew up in a simple and peaceful invironment. there were times that we stopped in our studies because the cannot afford to send us to school. we didn't stopped striving, because of our determination and goals in life to reach the peak of the highest mountain. we have encountered more difficulties and struggles in life, but we stayed strong and whole. we used those challenges as a key to our success. but sacrifices is part of evereyone'e life, we cannot avoid it. the only power we have is our faith in god. we reed to trust him, in times, of troubles, we ask help on him and he would be there for us. we continue our love and faith in him because god is our savior.

          that's why I considered my family as an ideal one. not only because of being whole and complete but also we lived with respect and love to everyone. an ideal family depends on us on how we keep, treasure, value, and love every one of us. acceptance and contentment can lead us to make our family an ideal one.
