To all my teacher

You’ve been part of my life.

Without you guiding my way

I would be empty and lifeless.

But thinks God

A gift from heaven is always there for me

And that is you, all teacher.

I am so delighted to express

My feelings for you through this poem.

You are not just an ordinary persons.

You’re like an everyday superhero.

Knowledge and wisdom, your  special powers.

You mold and shape the youth

To be ready, to become a somebody.

Those doctor, engineers, clerks, lawyers,

Presidents, managers and even the richest persons

Wouldn’t  reach their successful  professions

Without going to school and be taught by you.

                                                           Some people would say                     

Being a teacher is just irrelevant.

But they are wrong,

Being a teacher is a very accomplishing work.

You’re like an artist

With famous masterpieces of paintings and sculptures.

Yours is the youth,

Making them the productive citizens of the world,

Showing them the way to a brighter future.

                             I could not find the right word to describe you

But it’s ok as long as you keep on touching the lives of everyone.

Thank you for being our second parents.

 Thank you for inspiring us.

Thank you for always being there even we

Sometimes give up.

Thank you for the knowledge and wisdom you

Have showered upon us.

Thank you for the talents and skills you shared.

Thank you for the great opportunities.

Thank you for your tender loving care.

Thank you for the bright future ahead of us.

Thank you for everything.
